17 July – The Royal Court annonced their new season on Twitter:
“We have announced the casting for our new Autumn season. Take a look here: http://www.royalcourttheatre.com/news/articles/press-release-casting-announcement-autumn-2015/“
.
as soon as the booking online opened, I immediately booked for “Hangmen” 19 September matinee!

It will be my 3rd time at the Royal Court, after “Haunted Child” in 2012 and “The Low Road” in 2013.
I already saw Johnny Flynn at the as protagonist of “The Low Road” and I wanted to see Reece Shearsmith on stage for long time, so I couldn’t miss the occasion! David Morrissey is a great extra bonus! I’m curious on the other members of the cast, too!
Today I also voted for the Royal Court as my favorite theatre at the “Time Out Theatre Awards 2015“: I hope they win!

HANGMEN, Jerwood Theatre Downstairs
Storyline: ‘I’m just as good as bloody Pierrepoint’ – In his small pub in Oldham, Harry is something of a local celebrity. But what’s the second-best hangman in England to do on the day they’ve abolished hanging? Amongst the cub reporters and sycophantic pub regulars, dying to hear Harry’s reaction to the news, a peculiar stranger lurks, with a very different motive for his visit.
‘Don’t worry. I may have my quirks but I’m not an animal. Or am I? One for the courts to discuss.’
